The PM Vishwakarma Yojana is a brand-new programme that has just been introduced.
It intends to provide loans to nearby employees who are important to the rural economy. Registration process has already started on pmvishwakarma.gov.in and it will close by the end of 2023.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana Registration
The PM Vishwakarma Yojana, often referred to as the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman, makes it simple to obtain collateral-free financing up to Rs 3 lakh at a 4-year interest rate of 5% p.a.
This is a central sector initiative started by the MoMSME (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), which provides services to craftsmen and craftspeople working in certain trades such as market linkage support, skill training, and encouragement for electronic transactions.
Registration process has already started from September 2023.
After the verification and approval processes are complete, the candidates will be registered as Vishwakarma under the PM Vishwakarma scheme.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana Online Apply Last Date
The first loan tranche will be approved when the borrower has finished the five to seven days of basic training that MSDE has offered.
Skilled customers who have fully repaid the first tranche loan, maintained a standard loan account, implemented electronic transactions in their firm, or have completed advanced training will be eligible for the second loan tranche.
The registration process will end by the end of 2023.
Additionally, the second loan tranche won’t be approved until six months have passed after the first loan tranche’s distribution.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana Skill Development
Borrowers can participate in training programs at vocational training facilities under the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman program. After 5-7 days of basic training, the borrower would get a training stipend (Rs 500/day) via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) into the bank account associated with their Aadhaar.
At specified training facilities, interested applicants can also apply for 15 days of advanced training. Free board and housing will be offered throughout the training duration.
PM Vishvakarma Yojana Marketing Assistance
The National Committee for Marketing (NCM) will provide the borrowers with marketing assistance in their selected fields.
The assistance includes establishing a physical and online presence for the goods and services, brand creation, product packaging, design and development, advertising at trade shows, connections with exporters, and product listing on e-commerce websites. The NCM Quality Certificates will cover the costs of the following categories.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana Qualifications
The applicant must be a self-employed artist or craftsperson working in one of the 18 designated family-based traditional trades (listed below) in the unorganized or informal sector. An applicant must be at least 18 years old on the registration date.
The applicant should not have taken out loans through comparable central or state credit-based programs for self-employment or company growth in the previous five years, such as PM SVANidhi, PMEGP, or MUDRA.
However, borrowers from MUDRA and SVANidhi who have paid off their debts in full may submit an application for a loan under PM Vishwakarma.
The five years are computed from the loan approval date. A candidate who works for any state or federal government agency, together with his or her spouse and any unmarried children.
Vishwakarma Yojana Important Documents
Required Documents for PM Mobile Number for Vishwakarma Yojana are Aadhaar Card, Bank Account Information Ration Card (Applicants must supply the Aadhaar numbers of every member of their family if they do not already have a ration card).

The Union Government would fully fund the PM Vishwakarma initiative with 13000 Cr.
The Vishwakarmas, or artisans, will be registered for free through Common Services Centres using a biometric-based PM Vishwakarma portal under this scheme.
