In a move to enhance passenger convenience, the Indian Railways has made schedule adjustments for select train services in the Gorakhpur region.
Effective from August 08, 2023, the following changes will take place:
Ranchi-Banaras Express (18611-18612) Schedule Rescheduled
The Ranchi-Banaras Express (18611) will now have a revised arrival and departure time at Barwadih station, Dhanbad Division of East Central Railway. The train will arrive at 01.09 hrs and depart at 01.11 hrs.
The Banaras-Ranchi Express (18612) will also see adjusted timings at Barwadih station, arriving at 22.15 hrs and departing at 22.17 hrs.
Sambalpur-Banaras-Sambalpur Express (18311-18312) Gets New Timing
The Sambalpur-Banaras-Sambalpur Express (18311) will now arrive at Barwadih station at 01.09 hrs and depart at 01.11 hrs from August 08, 2023.
The Banaras-Sambalpur Express (18312) will have new timings at Barwadih station, arriving at 22.15 hrs and departing at 22.17 hrs.
Experimental Stoppage Extended for Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Banaras Express (12167-12168)
The experimental stoppage of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Banaras Express at Burhanpur station, initiated on March 06, 2023, has been extended until further notice.
Passengers on this route will continue to benefit from the extended stoppage.
Additionally, an experimental stoppage of 02 minutes will be provided at Latehar station for Ranchi-Banaras Express (18611) starting from August 08, 2023.
The train will arrive at 00.34 hrs and depart at 00.36 hrs.
