Leading electric vehicle manufacturer, Virtus Motors, has introduced its latest Alpha series of electric bicycles in the local market.
The series debuts with two models: ‘Alpha A’ and ‘Alpha I’, aiming to bridge the gap between conventional and electric cycling.
Key Features of the Alpha Series
Both models boast an 8.0 Ah fixed battery pack.
The front features a disc brake, while the single-speed design ensures a seamless ride across various road surfaces.
These bicycles come packed with user-friendly enhancements, including a 1-inch LCD screen near the throttle that provides real-time updates.
Battery Performance
The electric bicycles feature a 250W electric hub motor paired with a 36V 8AH battery.
A single charge yields a range of up to 30 km, which extends to 60 km with pedal assistance.
Achieving a top speed of 25 km/h, these lightweight cycles weigh only 20 kg.
Sporting tube tires, front and rear disc brakes, and an inbuilt battery pack within an MTB frame, the display showcases battery status, odometer, and speedometer readings.
