Hero MotoCorp, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has recently increased the price of its latest sport bike, the Harley Davidson X440.
The bike can now be purchased at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 2,39,500.
The company has raised the price by Rs. 10,500 for all variants of the bike.
However, customers can still book the bike at its introductory price of Rs. 2,29,000 until August 3, but only if they book it with a token amount of Rs. 5,000.
The bike is offered in three variants: Denim, Vivid, and S, and will be competing with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Triumph Speed 400.
Delivery to Commence in October
Hero MotoCorp also announced its plans to increase production capacity for the Harley Davidson X440.
Production of the bike is scheduled to begin in September at the company’s Neemrana, Rajasthan factory, and deliveries will start in October, based on the booking order.

The bike boasts a powerful 440 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, generating 27 bhp of power at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 38 Nm at 4000 rpm.
The engine is paired with a smooth 6-speed transmission.

Hero MotoCorp has equipped the bike with an all-LED setup, including a USB charger port for mobile devices.
It also features a 3.5-inch TFT display with a speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, service indicator, and side stand alert.
Additionally, the bike offers Bluetooth connectivity with application support.
Competing Models
In the domestic two-wheeler market, the Harley Davidson X440 will be in direct competition with the recently launched Triumph Speed 400 and the popular Royal Enfield Classic 350.
