BSNL, known for its affordable plans, has surprised its customers by reducing major benefits from its hit Rs 398 plan.
This plan, which previously offered unlimited data for 30 days, will no longer provide that benefit. Instead, BSNL is now offering 120GB of data in the plan, which has left customers disappointed.
Details of the Revised Rs 398 Plan
Previously, the Rs 398 plan provided unlimited data for 30 days, allowing customers to work from home without restrictions.
However, the plan has been updated, and unlimited data has been replaced with a cap of 120GB data.
After exhausting the data limit, the internet speed will be reduced to 40 Kbps. Despite the changes, the plan still includes unlimited calling benefits and 100 free SMS.
Implications for Customers
The reduction in benefits is likely to be a significant loss for customers who relied on the unlimited data offered in the Rs 398 plan.
With this change, the plan now provides more data with a data cap, affecting users who heavily relied on seamless internet access for various purposes.
