Midsize SUVs Evolve: Upgraded Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos Prepare for Launch in Fresh Avatars

Kia India and Hyundai have been dominating the midsize SUV market with their highly popular models, the Creta and Seltos, respectively.

Exciting news awaits as both models are set to receive major upgrades in the near future. Kia India has already taken the wraps off the facelifted Seltos, with pre-bookings already underway.

Pricing details will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Simultaneously, Hyundai has commenced testing the upgraded version of the Creta, slated for an early 2024 launch.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift:

The facelifted Seltos has already received an overwhelming response, amassing a staggering 13,424 orders on its first day of bookings.

The 2023 Kia Seltos lineup will be available in three trims: Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line.

Enthusiasts can expect an array of impressive features such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, 18-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, hill start assist, vehicle stability management, rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, and speed-sensing auto doors.

Additionally, the new Seltos will introduce a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine alongside the existing 1.5L petrol (115bhp) and 1.5L turbo diesel (116bhp) engines, generating a powerful output of 160PS.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift:

The testing phase of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is already in progress, promising an impressive set of upgrades.

Following the footsteps of the Kia Seltos, the new Creta will also feature ADAS and a 360-degree camera, along with several other updated features.

The design and style will undergo notable changes, including a Palisade-inspired grille with cube-like detailing and LED daytime running lights (DRLs).

The front fascia will showcase a full-width LED light bar, inspired by the new generation Verna, while the rear will boast a revised tailgate, new LED taillamps connected via an LED light bar, and a revised bumper.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta will be available with three engine options: a 1.5L petrol (115bhp), 1.5L turbo petrol (160bhp), and 1.5L diesel (115bhp), ensuring a versatile and powerful driving experience.
