Harley Davidson, the renowned American automaker, is all set to unveil its much-awaited X440 motorcycle today, marking its entry into the affordable segment in India.
Developed in collaboration with Indian automaker Hero MotoCorp, the Harley Davidson X440 showcases a captivating neo-retro design and boasts a powerful engine.
True to its name, the X440 is equipped with a robust 440 cc engine, featuring both oil and air cooling.
This powerhouse is expected to deliver an impressive output of 30 horsepower and 35 newton meters of torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
With an estimated starting price ranging between 3 to 4 lakh rupees, the X440 will serve as Harley Davidson’s entry-level offering in the Indian market.
The motorcycle’s neo-retro design highlights include a round-shaped LED headlamp, taillamp, turn indicators, and mirrors.
It also sports a squarish fuel tank, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, dual disc brakes, and a digital instrument cluster with a single-pod round shape.
Notably, the X440 comes with exciting features such as smartphone connectivity, a USB port, and dual-channel ABS.
Enthusiasts of Harley Davidson motorcycles in India have eagerly awaited the arrival of the X440, as it represents the company’s most affordable bike to date.
