OnePlus has announced the upcoming launch of their latest earbuds, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, in India.
The Chinese company itself shared this information, revealing that the new earbuds will be available for purchase from select partner stores such as Amazon.in, Flipkart, OnePlus.in, and OnePlus Experience Stores.
Speculation suggests that OnePlus might also unveil the OnePlus Nord 3 on the same day, although an official confirmation is still pending.
According to reports, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R will be priced between 2,000 to 3,000 rupees.
These earbuds are expected to lack the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature.
In the teaser images released by the company, the buds are showcased with blue and black colored cases.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R are said to incorporate the Basewave algorithm, designed to preserve the original audio quality and provide enhanced bass.
Additionally, they will feature the Dynamic Bass Enhancement functionality to further enhance the bass frequencies.
In contrast, the previously launched OnePlus Nord Buds in April offer ANC capabilities.
The design of the new buds is somewhat similar to the original Nord Buds, complete with touch controls on the earpiece.
The HeyMelody app will provide access to customization options including equalizer settings and a low-latency game mode.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 were initially launched in India at a price of Rs 2,999, available in white and gray color options.
The battery life, connectivity, and sound quality of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R are reported to be impressive.
They support SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs, as well as Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless connectivity.
Other connectivity features include support for OnePlus Fast Pair.
The newly designed charging case comes with a USB Type-C port for convenient charging.
The earbuds are equipped with 12.4mm dynamic drivers and also offer compatibility with Dolby Atmos on select OnePlus smartphones.
