If you are currently employed, it’s important to keep track of your PF account.
A portion of your salary is deposited into this account, which is managed by the EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organization) under the Ministry of Labor.
The EPFO has introduced user-friendly methods to help you conveniently access your EPF account balance and related information.
Method 1: Check through SMS
To begin, send a message from your registered mobile number to 7738299899 with the content “EPFOHO UAN LAN.”
Shortly after, you will receive a message on your mobile phone containing various details, including your EPF account balance.
Method 2: Check via Missed Call
Alternatively, you can check your EPF balance by giving a missed call from your registered mobile number to 011-22901406.
After a few rings, the call will automatically disconnect.
In a short while, you will receive a message providing all the relevant information about your EPF account, including the balance.
Method 3: Check Online
Another convenient way to access your EPF balance is by visiting the official website of the EPFO.
However, make sure you have your UAN (Universal Account Number) handy. Follow these steps:
1) Visit the member e-sewa website (URL: [Website URL]).
2) Scroll down to find the option for entering your UAN number.
3) If you already know your UAN number, activate the option located just above and click directly.
4) Proceed to the EPF Passbook Online section and log in using your UAN and password.
5) Once logged in, click on the “Download” option.
6) Your passbook will then open, displaying your EPF balance and other transaction details.
By following these simple steps, you can easily stay updated on your EPF account balance and keep track of your funds.
