It is essential for farmers to be aware of these changes.
Beneficiary Status
A notable change has been made on the PM Kisan portal concerning the beneficiary status. The process for viewing the beneficiary status has been updated.
To access this information, a registration number is now required.
If you are unaware of your registration number, you can click on the “Know Your Registration Number” link.
A new page will appear, prompting you to enter your mobile number or Aadhaar number to retrieve the registration number.
After obtaining the registration number, click on the “Beneficiary Status” section on the portal. Enter your registration number and the provided captcha code.
Then click on “Get Data” to view your status.
Name Correction
Occasionally, errors may occur while filling out the form, leading to issues with receiving the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
If you encounter any discrepancies, you can rectify them through the portal.
To correct the name, click on “Name Correction as per Aadhaar.
” A new page will open, where you can enter your registration number, captcha code, and the correct name as mentioned on your Aadhaar card.
PM Kisan App
Previously, information related to the PM Kisan scheme was available only on the internet portal.
However, now farmers can conveniently access the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi through a mobile app.
To utilize this feature, farmers can download the PM Kisan Mobile App on their mobile devices.
The portal provides a link to the app, or alternatively, farmers can directly download the PM Kisan app from the Google Play Store.
Once downloaded, they can enroll on the app using their Aadhaar details.
Farmers Corner
The PM Kisan Scheme portal has introduced a Farmers Corner, offering a new feature.
If you wish to opt-out of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi or voluntarily surrender the benefits, you can click on “Voluntary Surrender of PM Kisan Benefits.
” Enter your registration number, and you will be able to surrender your benefits.
