These new cars are anticipated to make a significant impact, just like the Mahindra Scorpio and XUV700. Let’s delve into the specifics.

1) Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

The facelifted version of the XUV300 is scheduled to arrive in early 2024, showcasing a redesigned front fascia.

Drawing inspiration from the XUV700, the rear design will receive notable changes.

The engine options are likely to include a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel, while the AMT transmission may be replaced with a torque converter unit.

2) Mahindra Thar – Now Available in a 5-Door Variant

The highly anticipated 5-door version of the Mahindra Thar, aimed to compete with the 5-door Maruti Jimny, is expected to hit the Indian market soon.

This new variant will be larger than the current three-door model.

Its exterior design will resemble the regular model, featuring tall pillars, upright body panels, muscular wheel arches, and a flat roofline.

Powering the 5-door Thar will be the reliable 2.2L turbo mHawk diesel and 2.0L mStallion petrol engines.

It will share the same ladder frame platform as the Scorpio-N and will offer a choice between a six-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

3) Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

For several months now, Mahindra has been conducting road tests for the Bolero Neo Plus.

This variant is essentially a rebranded version of the TUV300 Plus.

It will feature a similar front-end design to the current Bolero Neo model.

The Bolero Neo Plus is expected to be available in various seating configurations, including seven and nine-seater options.

The starting price is anticipated to be around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

It may be launched this year itself, powered by a 2.2L diesel engine capable of generating approximately 130 PS of power and 300 Nm of peak torque.
