If you’re an Apple iPhone enthusiast, this news is for you. Apple, having recently inaugurated two new stores in India,
is now working on a strategy to open three additional stores in the country.
Recognizing their late entry into the Indian market, Apple is determined to make up for lost time by swiftly establishing new stores across the country.
Apple is gearing up to extend its retail chain in India, focusing on key markets such as Delhi and Mumbai,
as well as other countries in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, America, and Canada regions.
According to a recent Bloomberg report, Apple’s upcoming plans include opening a third store in Borivali,
Mumbai by 2025, followed by a fourth store in Vasant Kunj, Delhi’s DLF Promenade Mall by 2026.
The latter will become Apple’s second-largest store in India, while the title of the largest store will remain with Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex store.
The report further suggests that Apple has proposed the Seaside Worli area in Mumbai as the location for its fifth store, expected to commence operations by 2027.
In addition to India, Apple is also contemplating the opening of 15 new stores across the Asia-Pacific region.
The company has plans to reopen six stores in Asia, nine in Europe, and 13 in North America.
The establishment of these new stores in India is expected to significantly contribute to Apple’s economy.
According to reports, the two existing stores in Delhi and Mumbai generated revenues of approximately Rs 22-25 crore within just a month of their respective openings.
