The sales figures for the best-selling midsize SUVs in April 2023 have been revealed, and Mahindra’s Scorpio / N has emerged as the dominant player in this segment.
Additionally, Mahindra’s XUV700 and MG’s Hector or Hector Plus also witnessed impressive sales growth compared to the same period last year.

- Scorpio / N
Mahindra’s Scorpio / N vehicles have secured the top spot in this list, with a total of 9,617 units sold in April 2023. In comparison, only 2,712 units of this vehicle were sold in April 2022, indicating a significant increase of 6,905 units in sales.
- XUV700
Mahindra’s XUV700 takes the second position in this list of midsize SUVs. It recorded a total of 4,757 units sold in April 2023. When compared to April 2022, where 4,494 units were sold, there is a slight increase of 263 units in sales.
- Hector or Hector Plus
The third position in this list goes to MG’s Hector and Hector Plus vehicles. A combined total of 3,103 units of these vehicles were sold in April 2023. In April 2022, only 1,448 units of these vehicles were sold, representing a substantial increase of 1,655 units in sales.
The midsize SUV segment continues to be competitive, with Mahindra’s Scorpio / N leading the pack, closely followed by the XUV700 and MG’s Hector or Hector Plus. These vehicles have demonstrated their popularity and appeal among consumers in the market.
