Vivo announced on Friday that the T2x 5G, its most affordable smartphone from the 5G lineup, is now available for purchase.
Vivo introduced the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G smartphones in India on April 11, 2023, prior to this announcement.
As per our knowledge, the T2 smartphone, which is priced at Rs 18,999 (~$231), has been on sale since April 18.
Vivo T2x 5G Specifications
In regards to the upcoming launch of Vivo T2x 5G, it features a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display.
Additionally, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera setup, including a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an LED flash.
It also has an 8 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, along with a powerful 5,000 mAh battery.
The new launch of T2x 5G will feature Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, as the pre-installed operating system.
It’s worth mentioning that the T2x is Vivo’s most budget-friendly smartphone with 5G capabilities.
The Vivo T2x 5G is available in India in multiple RAM variants, including 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB.
Further, these models are priced at Rs 12,999 (~$158), Rs 13,999 (~$170), and Rs 15,999 (~$195), respectively.
It’s worth mentioning that all three models come with ample 128 GB of internal storage.
The Vivo T2x 5G features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD FHD+ panel with a teardrop notch, and it runs on Android 13 OS with FunTouch OS 13 on top.
For security, it includes a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset.
The device is equipped with a maximum of 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 3 GB of extended RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
In addition, the Vivo T2x 5G offers a range of other features, including dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, a microSD card slot for expandable storage, and a 3.5mm audio jack for convenient audio connectivity.
Vivo T2x 5G Pricing And Availability
Regarding the pricing, the Vivo T2x 5G is available at different price points, with the 4GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 12,999, the 6GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 13,999, and the 8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 15,999.
Vivo is providing the T2x 5G smartphone in three captivating color options – Aurora Gold, Marine Blue, and Glimmer Black.
For those interested in purchasing this smartphone, Vivo has stated that it will be exclusively available on the company’s e-store and Flipkart, starting from Friday, April 21, 2023.
For those who are interested in buying this device, it will be made available for purchase on Flipkart and Vivo India’s online store.
Customers can avail a discount of Rs 1000 on the smartphone when purchasing through Flipkart by using HDFC and ICICI bank cards.
As a result of this offer, the Vivo T2x can be purchased at a discounted price of Rs 11,999 (~$146).
