Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the latest addition to their CNG lineup, the Brezza S-CNG, in the country.
This vehicle was previously showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo and is aimed at providing customers with an environmentally-friendly driving experience.
The Brezza S-CNG comes packed with a host of features, including an Electric Sunroof, Cruise Control, SmartPlay Pro Infotainment System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Keyless Push Start, among others.
With the introduction of the Brezza S-CNG, Maruti Suzuki’s CNG offerings have now expanded to a total of 14 models.
Equipped with the K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine, the Brezza S-CNG generates a maximum power output of 64.6kW at 5500 rpm and peak torque of 121.5Nm at 4200 rpm.
It boasts an impressive fuel efficiency rating of 25.51 km/kg.
This vehicle is available in three variants – LXi, VXi and ZXi, all with a 5-speed manual transmission, and customers can also choose from dual-tone color options.
With the support of Maruti Suzuki’s reliable and well-established S-CNG technology, the beloved compact SUV of India, Brezza, is poised to captivate the hearts of the current young generation.
It is equipped with tailor-made features designed specifically for CNG use, such as a fuel lid that integrates both petrol and CNG, a dedicated CNG drive mode, digital and analogue gauges for CNG fuel, and a switch that illuminates during fuel changeover.
The CNG cylinder is seamlessly integrated with an attractive cover, ensuring convenient usage.
According to Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the Brezza has been a revolutionary vehicle for the company.
Its design and performance have completely transformed the compact SUV market.
He expressed his confidence that the new S-CNG version of the Hot and Techy Brezza will once again shake up the segment.
Furthermore, he noted that the new S-CNG Brezza is the ideal option for individuals seeking a sustainable, secure, and high-performing city SUV.
It’s worth noting that S-CNG models constitute 24% of total sales in Maruti Suzuki Arena.
Additionally, hot-selling models such as the Ertiga and WagonR witness as high as 57% and 41% of total model sales from CNG variants, respectively.
With the government’s push towards increasing the number of CNG pumps throughout the country, these figures are expected to rise significantly in the future.
