Mahindra & Mahindra Introduces New Arctic White Color Option for Thar 4X4, Adding to Existing Shades of Aqua Marine, Red, Grey and Black.
The model retains its contrasting Dark Grey and Black details on the roof, ORVMs, and side body cladding.
Notably, the Arctic White paint scheme is exclusively available on the Mahindra Thar RWD/2WD version, which was launched for sale in January 2023.
The pricing for the Thar 4X4 in the new color option has not been disclosed yet, but it is expected to be reserved for the range-topping LX trim.
The Mahindra Thar 4X4 remains unchanged otherwise, with three engine options and both manual and automatic gearboxes on offer.
The Thar LX trim is equipped with a range of features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and navigation, power-adjustable ORVMs,
8-way adjustable front seats including height and lumbar adjust, USB connectivity, steering-mounted controls, speed-sensing front door locks, roll cage, Isofix child seat mounts,
tyre pressure monitor and tyre direction monitor, hill start and descent assist, electronic stability programme with rollover mitigation, brake locking differential, and more.
Additionally, Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to launch a 5-door version of the Thar, which is currently in its testing phase and expected to be released towards the end of this year or early next year.
The SUV may be powered by the 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines, with a 4X4 drivetrain system and a manual shift transfer case with a low ratio as standard.
With a 300mm longer wheelbase than the 3-door version, the 5-door Thar will offer new body panels and a more spacious cabin.
