Many special trains have been run on Holi. The purpose of running these trains is to provide convenience to the passengers and avoid any kind of trouble during the festival of Holi.

It has been decided to run special trains between Dibrugarh/Newjalpaiguri-Gorakhpur and Dr Ambedkar Nagar-Patna in Assam. We are giving you the information about these trains below.
These trains are Dibrugarh-Gorakhpur-New Jalpaiguri-Gorakhpur-Dibrugarh special. Trains will run between Jalpaiguri, Gorakhpur and Patna in West Bengal. These trains will go via Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Barauni and Katihar.
Significantly, Holi is on March 8, and in such a situation, special trains have been run for many states so that the passengers do not face any inconvenience.
Train number 05978, Dibrugarh-Gorakhpur special train, will leave at 19.25 hrs on 02 and 09 March. This train will reach Samastipur at 23.00 hrs on Friday, Hajipur at 01.15 hrs on Saturday, and Gorakhpur at 07.30 hrs.
Train 05777 Gorakhpur – New Jalpaiguri Special will leave Gorakhpur at 17.00 hrs on 04 & 11 March. This train will stop at Hajipur at 22.15 and reach Jalpaiguri in West Bengal at 11.00 the next day.
Train 05778 New Jalpaiguri – Gorakhpur special will depart New Jalpaiguri at 15.00 hrs on 06 & 13 March. This train will reach Gorakhpur at 06.30 on Tuesday, stopping at Hajipur at 01.15.
05977 Gorakhpur-Dibrugarh special train will leave Gorakhpur at 07.50 hrs on March 07 and 14 and will reach Dibrugarh at 21.15 hrs, stopping at Hajipur at 12.20 hrs.
Train 09343 Dr Ambedkar Nagar – Patna Superfast Special will depart Dr Ambedkar Nagar at 05.05 hrs on the 3rd, 10th & 17th March and reach Patna at 4.00 hrs the next day.
