Nissan to Launch New 7 seater mpv Car in india: Check Feature

Japanese automaker Nissan is preparing to expand its utility vehicle range in the Indian market.

Currently, the company is selling only two vehicles in the Indian market, which include the Nissan Magnite and the Kicks SUV.

The news is coming that the company will soon launch its affordable MPV in the market here, based on the French company Renault’s Triber.

It may be noted that Renault and Nissan had earlier developed Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite on the same platform and launched them in the market here.

This upcoming new MPV from Nissan will be based on the Renault Triber, the cheapest 7-seater MPV available in the market.

In such a situation, it is expected that the price of the upcoming 7-seater from Nissan will remain around this.

Renault Triber’s price starts at Rs. 6.33 lakhs, which goes up to Rs. 8.97 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top variant. According to the brand, some critical changes can be seen in this MPV of Nissan.

Earlier, Nissan had revealed plans to introduce its new X-Trail SUV for the Indian market. The Nissan Xtrel will primarily rival the Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market.

This SUV is being tested and is likely to be launched in the market in the middle of the year. Apart from this, the company is also planning to launch the Qashqai SUV here.

Nissan’s upcoming affordable MPV will be based on the CMF-A+ platform. Although not much information has been received about it yet, it is believed that the company can use the same engine seen in Renault Triber.

This MPV will likely be launched in the market with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a turbo-petrol engine.

The naturally aspirated engine generates 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque, equipped with a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission gearbox.

Features list includes:

  • An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
  • Keyless entry.
  • Removable third row.
