Three more airports will open in Jharkhand in the new year. These include Tata, Bokaro, and Dumka airports.
These airports are ready for aircraft operations, and efforts to start flights are going on fast.
Private planes of Tata company are operating from Jamshedpur’s Sonari airport.
Steps are on to begin commercial airline from here. Bokaro and Dumka airport is almost ready.
Both airports are currently going through the process of getting the license. SAIL for Bokaro Airport and State Government for Dumka is in the process of obtaining consent.
Flight service will start under the UDAN scheme
Flights will be started from these three airports under Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik (Udaan).
Under the Regional Connectivity Center (RCS), Bokaro will be connected to Kolkata and Patna and Tata to Kolkata.
Spice Jet Company will start flight service between Bokaro and Kolkata. Alliance Air will start flight service between Bokaro and Patna.
An airline company named India One will start an airline between Jamshedpur and Kolkata.
Received the gift of Deoghar airport this year

Service soon in Dumka, Bokaro and Tata Airport
Ranchi Airport Director KL Aggarwal said that Dumka, Bokaro, and Tata airports are ready for aircraft operations.
License and some work are pending. After their completion, the flight will start from here.
