Open NPS Account with DigiLocker (NPS Account Opening on DigiLocker)
DigiLocker, the online document storage wallet of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, gives you this facility.
Pension Authority Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) provides its subscribers the facility to open an NPS account on the DigiLocker platform and update their address on it.

How to open an NPS account with a driving license (NPS Account opening using a Driving License?)
1. First, go to the Protean CRA https://enps.nsdl.com/ website and select the option of National Pension Scheme.
2. After clicking on the registration option, click on the choice of Register With. And then select Document with DigiLocker.
3. Click on ‘Driving License’ and then click on the ‘Continue’ button.
4. You will see the message – ‘You will now be redirected to the DigiLocker website’ accept it, after which you will be redirected to the DigiLocker website.
5. Here you have to log in to access your DigiLocker.
6. You must permit Central Record Keeping Agencies (CRKAs) to share your documents.
7. Give NPS access to DigiLocker.
8. Your driving license photo and demographic details will appear on the screen.
9. Here you will have to give the rest of your personal information, bank account information, PAN card, NPS scheme information, nomination details, etc.
10. After this, fill out the application form and make NPS donation payment.
11. Your NPS account will open.
