HDFC hikes Bulk FD Rates; Senior Citizens can get 7.75% Interest

HDFC Bank Bulk FD Interest: The country’s largest private sector bank, HDFC, has increased the interest rates on its bulk FD. Bulk FD includes FD ranging from Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore.

These new rates have come into effect today, December 27. Now the bank is giving interest ranging from 4.50 percent to a maximum of 7.15 percent to ordinary people on bulk FDs.

At the same time, senior citizens are being given interest ranging from 5 percent to a maximum of 7.75 percent.

The bank is offering FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years. RBI has increased interest rates in the last few months to control inflation.

After increasing the repo rate of RBI, many banks have increased their interest rates. Many big banks in the country are included in this list.

HDFC Bank interest rates on FDs above Rs 2 crore and up to Rs 5 crore

Seven days to 14 days: For the general public – 4.50 percent; For Senior Citizens – 5.00 percent

15 days to 29 days: For the general public – 4.50 percent; For Senior Citizens – 5.00 percent

30 days to 45 days: For the general public – 5.25 percent; For Senior Citizens – 5.75 percent

46 days to 60 days: For the general public – 5.50 percent; For Senior Citizens – 6.00 percent

61 days to 89 days: For the general public – 5.75 percent; For Senior Citizens – 6.25 percent

less than 90 days equal to 6 months: for the general public – 6.10 percent; For Senior Citizens – 6.60 percent

Six months one day to less than nine months: For the general public – 6.35 percent; For Senior Citizens – 6.85 percent

Nine months one day to less than one year: For the general public – 6.50 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.00 percent

One year to less than 15 months: For the general public – 6.75 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.25 percent

15 months to less than 18 months: For the general public – 7.15 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.65 percent

18 months one day to less than 21 months: For the general public – 7.15 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.65 percent

21 months to 2 years: For the general public – 7.15 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.65 percent

Two years one day to 3 years: For the general public – 7.00 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.50 percent

Three years one day to 5 years: For the general public – 7.00 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.50 percent

Five years one day to 10 years: For the general public – 7.00 percent; For Senior Citizens – 7.75 percent.
