Hyundai Motor India has unveiled its new car Ioniq 5. Pre-bookings have also started for this, and its prices will be announced at Auto Expo 2023.
If you want to buy this new car, you can book it by paying a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.
To book, you have to visit the official website of the company. Ioniq 5 is Hyundai’s second electric vehicle in the Indian market.
Earlier, the company launched the Kona EV. The India-spec Ioniq 5 will get a larger 72.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The company claims that the driving range of this car is 631 km per charge (ARAI-certified).
With the help of a super-fast 350 kW DC charger, this electric car can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
Hyundai Ioniq 5: Price and other details
The prices of the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be revealed next month at the Auto Expo 2023.
This will be the company’s new flagship model for the Indian market.
It will be assembled at the local level. Ioniq 5 will compete with vehicles like Kia EV6 and Volvo XC40 Recharge.
Hyundai Ioniq 5: Platform and Performance
The Ioniq 5 is based on Hyundai’s new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
Coming to the powertrain, its electric motor develops 214 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque.
This EV is also equipped with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) innovative technology that allows customers to electrical power equipment up to 3.6 kW from inside and outside the car.
