PF Interest: Employees will get 8.1% Interest on Provident Fund

EPFO Latest Update: For FY22, the government has approved an interest rate of 8.1 percent on Employees Provident Fund (EPF) deposits for around five crore account holders of the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).

PF interest will be sent to PF account holders soon. If you have Rs 5 lakh in your account, you can get an interest of Rs 40,000 on your PF account.

The government will soon transfer money to PF accounts. If media reports are to be believed, the interest money will soon be transferred to the accounts.

If you have Rs 5 lakh in your PF account, you can get up to Rs 40,000.

When will pf transfer happen?

EPFO will soon start adding interest money to employees Employees Provident Fund (EPF) accounts.

This 8.1 percent interest on EPF deposits is the lowest since FY1978. At that time, the interest rate was 8 percent.

How to check my balance through SMS?

Type EPFO UAN LAN (Language) from the mobile number registered with EPFO and send it to 7738299899.

LAN means your language. If you want information in English, you must write ENG instead of LAN. Similarly, HIN for Hindi and TAM for Tamil is to be written.

To get information in Hindi, you have to message by writing EPFOHO UAN HIN.

How to get information through a missed call?

You can also know your EPF balance through missed calls. You have to give a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number.

How to get information through the website?

Visit the EPF Passbook portal to check your balance online. Log in to this portal using your UAN and password.

In this, click on Download / View Passbook, and then the passbook will open in front of you, where you can see the balance.

How to get information through Umang App?

If you have a smartphone, you can check your EPF balance through the app whenever you want.

For this, open Umang AF and click on EPFO. After this, click on Employee Centric Services and then click on View Passbook and enter your UAN and password.

OTP will come on the registered mobile number. After entering it, you can see the EPF balance.
