Royal Enfield is expected to launch three all-new motorcycles in the Indian market in six months
Royal Enfield hosted the world premiere of the Super Meteor 650 at the 2022 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, before showcasing it at the Rider Mania event last month.
The prices of the flagship cruiser will be announced sometime next month, and it is expected to be around Rs.4 lakh for the top-end model.
The deliveries of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 are likely to start by the end of next month or February 2023.
The motorcycle has global significance for the Chennai-based brand.
It has a 43mm Showa upside-down front fork unit, LED headlamp, and Google-powered Tripper navigation system.
The Super Meteor 650 draws power from the familiar 648cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that produces around 47 bhp power and 52 Nm of peak torque.
It is paired with a 6-speed transmission. Some other key highlights include front and rear disc brakes supported by a dual-channel ABS, relaxed forward set footpegs, alloys, chrome finish, etc.
It will target customers who wish to own a highway cruiser with a highly refined and torquey engine complemented by comfortable ergonomics.
The Super Meteor was often spotted testing alongside a near-production version of the SG650 concept,
which debuted at the 2021 EICMA show. We expect it to launch only in late 2023 or early 2024.
Royal Enfield could introduce the new-generation Bullet 350 or a single-seater bobber version of the Classic 350.
The customers have well received the recently launched Hunter 350. Taking the momentum forward, Royal Enfield may bring in an entirely new Bullet.
The Bullet 350 is based on the J-series engine platform and will have much in common with the existing Classic.
Another possibility is that Royal Enfield may launch the first model from the all-new 450 cc lineup in the Himalayan 450.
Given the popularity of the adventure space, we may see the Royal Enfield 450 launching as a KTM 390 Adventure rival by mid-2023. It will be powered by a liquid-cooled engine capable of producing around 40 Bhp.
