KTM India is updating its 390 series by changing the engine to a new 399cc one.
The first bike to get this change in India was the 390 Duke. However, the RC 390 and 390 Adventure models are still waiting for the switch to the new engine.
KTM has also introduced fresh color choices for some of its models recently. Let’s explore the details.
In 2024, the KTM RC 390 has been given two new color options. These changes are likely to be available for the India version too.
The design of the 2024 RC 390 remains the same, except for the addition of these new colors.
One option features a base blue color with orange and white, along with RC stickers in white.
The second choice has the front part of the RC 390 in bright orange, while the other half is black, with orange subframes highlighting the panels.
This color scheme includes a large RC sticker on the fairing in a faded black effect.
The 2024 KTM RC 390 still uses a split-steel trellis frame, similar to the existing model.
It comes with LED head and tail lamps, integrated LED blinkers, a handlebar with a 2-step height adjustment feature, and a 13.7-liter fuel tank.
Under the hood, the 2024 KTM RC 390 retains the same 373.27cc engine.
It is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 42HP at 9,000RPM and maximum torque of 37NM at 7,000RPM.
The engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
